Former President Donald Trump has agreed to President Joe Biden’s proposal for two debates in June and September, but has requested more debates.
Trump criticized Biden as the “WORST debater” he has ever faced. Many doubted that Biden, described as an elderly man with poor memory, would agree to debates, but he confirmed in April that he would.
Biden released a video proposing the debates, to which Trump promptly responded, saying “Just tell me when, I’ll be there.”
Trump suggested having more than two debates and a large venue for excitement. He also criticized Biden’s policies and urged him to explain them to the American people.
A Fox News poll found that the majority of voters believe skipping the debates would show weakness. Trump’s campaign had previously demanded more debates to be scheduled early.
