Four men have been charged by a federal grand jury for their involvement in an alleged conspiracy to transport dozens of migrants in a locked trailer to Houston. The investigation began after authorities in Eagle Pass, Texas, received reports of suspicious activity around a semi-truck trailer in a business lot. Border Patrol agents observed individuals being dropped off and entering the trailer, with some attempting to hide in a hidden compartment. Two drivers were arrested, along with 27 migrants found in or near the trailer. The drivers admitted to being paid for transporting migrants in trailers to Houston. They have been charged with conspiracy to transport illegal aliens and transportation of illegal aliens, jeopardizing lives in the process. This dangerous practice has led to multiple migrant deaths.
