Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) suggested that former President Donald Trump would have likely ended the war in Gaza more quickly than President Joe Biden. Cotton referenced a recent statement from Trump where he criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for the attack on Israel on Oct. 7. Cotton stated that under Trump’s leadership, the war may have already been over with less civilian suffering in Gaza due to his strong support for Israel.

Biden recently announced that the United States would not provide weapons to Israel if they were to invade Rafah, Gaza. Cotton criticized this decision, arguing that Israel is currently fighting for survival against the Hamas terrorist group. Cotton also criticized Biden for his handling of campus protests at various colleges, claiming it could lead to his loss in the upcoming election.

Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) has filed articles of impeachment against Biden for withholding weaponry from Israel. Trump criticized Biden for accepting donations from those who support anti-Israel campus protests and described Biden’s decision to withhold weapons as a betrayal of an American ally.
