Surfers gathered in Ensenada, Mexico, to protest and honor three international surfers who tragically lost their lives. The protest aimed to raise awareness about the lack of safety in the area, exemplified by the recent deaths of the Australian and American surfers.
The vigil was also held in Point Loma Nazarene University, where over 100 loved ones paid tribute to the three men, highlighting their selflessness and exceptional characters.
The bodies of the missing surfers, identified as brothers Jake and Callum Robinson from Australia and Jack Carter Rhoad from San Diego, were recovered from a 50-foot-deep well. Rhoad, a former professional soccer player and entrepreneur, was engaged to be married, while Callum Robinson worked in marketing and development. Jake Robinson was a doctor in Perth, Australia.
Memorial funds have been set up for Carter Rhoad and the Robinson family to support them during this difficult time. The community continues to mourn the loss of these talented and beloved individuals.
