Co-Founder of LinkedIn: ‘I Wish I Had Made Trump An Actual Martyr’

Reid Hoffman, co-founder of LinkedIn and venture capitalist, has sparked outrage with a disturbing joke about Donald Trump. The incident occurred at the exclusive Allen & Co. conference in Sun Valley, Idaho, where Hoffman and estranged friend Peter Thiel, a Trump supporter, engaged in a heated debate about the former president.

As tensions escalated, Hoffman made a tasteless comment that will likely be remembered for years to come. The timing of the remark, just 24 hours before a Trump rally in Pennsylvania was disrupted by a reported shooting and Trump’s subsequent removal by Secret Service agents with what appeared to be blood on his face, has raised eyebrows.

Thiel referenced the allegations of a coordinated legal assault by the Joe Biden White House against Trump, which the former president has dubbed “lawfare.” Trump’s campaign responded to the incident, stating that the president is unharmed and that further details would be forthcoming.
