CNN’s Scott Jennings Praises Israel’s Actions, Slams Biden Admin

Hezbollah terrorists have been dealt a significant blow in recent days, with Israel reportedly targeting and destroying pagers and walkie-talkies used by the group. Earlier on Thursday, Israel also reportedly struck Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The attacks have sparked a heated response from the usual critics, including members of the anti-Israel Squad and the White House press corps. However, not everyone is condemning the actions.

Scott Jennings, a CNN commentator, offered a different perspective on the situation, praising Israel for its effective operation. “I want to applaud and congratulate Israel for taking out those pagers worn by Hezbollah terrorists,” he said. Jennings also noted that Israel did not inform its ally, the United States, about the operation beforehand, which he found telling. “What is it about the Biden administration that would make Israel think they can’t be trusted?” he asked.

The Biden-Harris administration has indeed had a strained relationship with Israel, with the US previously threatening to halt arms sales to the country over its actions in Rafah. The Associated Press described the recent attacks as “surprise escalations” and reported that Secretary of State Antony Blinken expressed frustration, worrying that the actions could derail ceasefire talks.

The White House press corps was also quick to condemn the attacks, peppering National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby with questions during a briefing. Despite Kirby’s repeated assurances that the US was not involved in the operation, the press corps continued to press for more information. Kirby made it clear that the US had no role in the attacks, stating, “We were not involved in yesterday’s incidents or today’s in any way.”
