Border Patrol Union President Slams Kamala Harris, Praises Trump

In a high-profile endorsement, the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) threw its support behind former President Donald Trump during a rally in Arizona on Sunday. At the event, NBPC President Paul Perez took aim at Vice President Kamala Harris, criticizing her handling of the border as “border czar” and praising Trump for his unwavering support for border patrol agents.

Perez delivered a scathing critique of Harris, warning that if she were to win the election, the country would descend into chaos. He claimed that millions of unvetted individuals, who he said were committing crimes, would continue to put the country at risk. In contrast, Perez hailed Trump as a champion of border security, citing his long-standing support for the men and women who protect the border.

“The choice we have this November is clear: we can continue down the path of chaos, allowing the cartels to control the border and flood the country with drugs and fentanyl, or we can put an end to it once and for all,” Perez declared. “On behalf of the 16,000 men and women represented by the National Border Patrol Council, we strongly endorse and support Donald J. Trump for president of the United States.”

The NBPC’s endorsement of Trump is a significant break from its previous practice of staying out of presidential elections. In 2016, the council also endorsed Trump, citing concerns about border security and the impact on American communities. Perez emphasized that the lives and security of the American people are at stake, and the NBPC will not remain silent on this issue.
