On a recent episode of HBO’s “Real Time,” Bloomberg Businessweek National Correspondent Joshua Green discussed the ongoing turmoil on college campuses and how it has not been addressed by President Joe Biden as promised.
Green pointed out that the focus has shifted from potentially damaging stories about Republicans, such as Donald Trump’s legal troubles or a vice presidential candidate’s scandal, to the unrest and protests happening on campuses.
He argued that Biden was elected to bring stability and calm after the chaos of the Trump era, but that has not been achieved. Green suggested that this failure to address the issues on campuses is contributing to Biden’s decline in popularity and support, especially among young voters.
