Biden Allocating Funds from Obamacare to Support DACA Recipients

Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio is accusing President Joe Biden of using American taxpayers’ money to provide tax breaks to illegal immigrants in the DACA program through the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. Biden recently finalized a rule that allows DACA recipients to access Obamacare, prompting Vance to criticize the administration for prioritizing illegal aliens over American citizens. Vance has been vocal about his opposition to this policy, even introducing legislation with Rep. Josh Brecheen to ban DACA recipients from enrolling in Obamacare. He argued that taxpayers should not have to cover the healthcare costs of illegal immigrants and called for the administration to reconsider its decision. Vance and other Republicans have sent a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra urging him to drop the plan, citing President Obama’s promise that the ACA would not provide healthcare coverage to illegal immigrants.
