Former President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, has decided not to attend the upcoming Republican National Convention as a delegate due to prior commitments, confirmed by Melania Trump’s office. Barron was initially selected to be an at-large delegate for the convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but at 18 years old, he will not be participating.
Melania Trump’s office stated, “While Barron is grateful for the opportunity to represent the Florida Republican Party as a delegate, he is unable to participate due to previous engagements.” Instead, Trump’s daughter Tiffany Boulos and her husband Michael Boulos will serve as at-large delegates for the Florida Republican Party, with Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr. also expected to attend.
During a radio interview, Donald Trump mentioned that Barron is interested in politics and is a smart individual. Lara Trump also praised Barron, calling him incredibly intelligent and predicting that he may rise to prominence in the future. She described him as a “sleeper” who will eventually make a significant impact in the political sphere.
