Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office confirms 3 fatalities in shooting that injured 18

Recently, during a May Day celebration in the peaceful community of Stockton, a deadly shooting occurred. Approximately 1,000 people were in attendance at the event on Upper Bryant’s Landing Road, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

The event turned violent after an argument ensued, resulting in at least one individual firing multiple rounds into the crowd. Tragically, 18 people were shot, with three fatalities confirmed by the BCSO.

Authorities suspect that there may have been multiple shooters involved and are actively investigating leads with the assistance of the Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit.

Additionally, the Bay Minette Police Department, Loxley Police Department, Coastal Alabama Community College Police, and ALEA helped maintain order at the chaotic scene.
