Aubrey O’Day, Former Singer Signed to Diddy’s Label, Alleges He Orchestrated a Deal for Artists’ Silence Last Autumn

Aubrey O’Day, a member of the pop group Danity Kane, has accused rapper and music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs of trying to silence her and other ex-Bad Boy artists by pushing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) on them when he returned their publishing rights. O’Day claims that the rights were not worth much anyway. According to TMZ, O’Day, who was signed to Bad Boy Records in the 2000s, revealed that Combs gave all his old artists the rights to their music but wanted them to sign NDAs as part of the deal to prevent them from speaking about their experiences. She refused to sign the NDA as she valued her ability to speak out, especially in light of allegations made against Combs by others. O’Day also mentioned that the amount offered to get back the publishing rights was very low. O’Day spoke to TMZ as part of a documentary titled ‘The Downfall of Diddy,’ which explores the aftermath of the raids on Combs’ homes and the federal investigation that ensued. In a separate report by Breitbart News, Combs and his son are facing a lawsuit from a woman who alleges that they sexually assaulted her on a yacht. Combs and his son have denied the allegations.
