Speaking on Sen. Bernie Sanders’s (I-VT) podcast, AOC criticized the choice many face between healthcare and rent, calling it “barbarism.”
She stressed the need to demand and achieve unions, healthcare, fair wages, and an end to endless war to avoid a bleak future.

Both politicians are known for their progressive policies, such as advocating for the environment, increasing minimum wages, and improving public housing.
They have also spoken out against Israel’s military campaign in Gaza and the US’s military aid to the country.
