A spokesperson for the anti-Israel, pro-Hamas encampment at the University of Chicago has released a list of necessary supplies, including Plan B, HIV tests, vaseline, and more. UChicago United for Palestine, a coalition dedicated to Palestinian liberation and racial justice at the university, posted a detailed list of items needed for the encampment. The list includes essential medical supplies such as wound-packing gauze, heat gloves, portable chargers, CAT tourniquets, goggles, emergency bandages, and trauma shears. However, it also includes sexual-oriented items like dental dams, HIV tests, and Plan B, along with other items like menstrual cups, vaseline, disposable stethoscopes, and buckets with lids. This list of demands aligns with similar requests made by protesters at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) encampment, which includes vegan and gluten-free food, specific lighting equipment, ropes, zip ties, helmets, shields, wood, and other items. The presence of these demands at various university protests has raised concerns about outside agitators and international funding supporting these movements.
