Actor Kevin Sorbo will be showcasing his new children’s book, “The Bear Essentials of Fatherhood,” at a library story hour in the Miami area this weekend. The book, set to be released in June, emphasizes the importance of fathers in our culture and the need to honor them in our homes.
The story follows Mobi the Bear, who faces pressure from Culture the Vulture to prioritize himself over fatherhood and family. Sorbo hopes the book will combat the attack on masculinity and fathers in society.
The event, featuring Sorbo, will take place at the Northeast Dade-Aventura Library Auditorium in Aventura, Florida, on May 18 at 2 p.m. Families of all ages are invited to attend the free event, where they can enjoy a time of prayer, patriotic tradition, and a reading of the book.
“The Bear Essentials of Fatherhood” is published by BRAVE Books, a rising conservative Christian book publisher. The release of Sorbo’s book aligns with the upcoming Father’s Day celebrations in June.
