An Arab columnist in a Qatari newspaper recently expressed a desire for ongoing war rather than a ceasefire, proclaiming that victory is within reach for the Palestinians. The journalist, Samir Al-Barghouti, argued that continuous conflict is necessary to bring attention to the Palestinian cause and unite the “free world” behind their struggle.
Al-Barghouti praised the resistance in Gaza for their bravery and sacrifice, emphasizing the importance of fighting for freedom and honor. He called on the people of Gaza to continue resisting, stating that the enemy only understands the language of force. Despite previous broken ceasefires by Hamas, including the recent attack on October 7, Al-Barghouti advocated for the continuation of war until victory is achieved.
