The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) continued their operations against Hamas terrorists in Rafah and throughout Gaza on Israel’s independence day, despite international criticism and caution from the White House. Additionally, there were reports of IDF soldiers enjoying fireworks in Rafah. The IDF also conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. These strikes were rumored to involve bunker-busting bombs.
