British middleweight boxer Sherif Lawal tragically collapsed in the ring during his debut professional fight and was pronounced dead at the age of 29.
The British Boxing Board of Control confirmed his passing, stating that Lawal was knocked down by a blow to the head in the fourth round of the fight.
Despite efforts from paramedics, he sadly did not survive. Warren Boxing management also expressed their condolences in a statement.
