A report reveals that Melvin Jesus Aquino Enriquez, a 26-year-old illegal alien from Mexico, was arrested and charged in connection with the death of a three-month-old child. The baby suffered severe injuries on April 14 and ultimately passed away on April 21. Additionally, Enriquez is accused of strangling the child’s mother.

Enriquez had been deported from the United States in late 2020 under former President Donald Trump. He was encountered by ICE agents in March 2020 after being arrested for criminal trespassing in Harris County, Texas. A federal immigration judge ordered his deportation in September 2020, and he was returned to Mexico that same month.

Despite being deported, Enriquez illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border and resettled in Montgomery County, Texas. He is currently in Montgomery County Jail on a $750,000 bond with an ICE detainer placed on him.
