A woman in Mobile, Alabama fought off a carjacking suspect in a dramatic confrontation captured on security camera footage. The incident took place outside Hungry Howie’s Pizza on Airport Boulevard at around 9:15 p.m. on a Friday night.
The video shows a man jumping into the driver’s seat of a car while the woman tries to stop him by coming around the back of the vehicle. The woman can be seen struggling with the suspect as he drives off in the stolen car, with both fighting for control of the wheel.
The stolen car eventually collided with another vehicle, prompting the suspect to abandon the car and flee on foot. Mobile Police later arrested 32-year-old Bradley Rashad Allen of Theodore, charging him with first-degree robbery and third-degree assault. Allen was taken to Mobile County Metro Jail where he remains in custody as of late Sunday morning.
