Protesters Block Traffic at Disney World: Tensions Rise as Queers for Palestine Demonstrate in Orlando

Tensions escalated when members of the group Queers for Palestine staged a protest outside Disney World in Orlando, Florida, blocking traffic on Saturday. According to the New York Post, protesters used their cars to obstruct the exit at Interstate 4, as seen in video footage where they held banners with messages like “Free Palestine.” The group accused Disney of supporting “genocide” and shouted slogans against Israel.

Some drivers maneuvered around the demonstrators, while others engaged with them directly. One man confronted the protesters, expressing his disapproval of their actions. The group’s demonstration was met with swift law enforcement response, leading to the arrest of three Queers for Palestine protesters within 11 minutes.

This incident follows a similar protest in Chicago, where anti-Israel activists obstructed traffic near O’Hare International Airport, causing travel disruptions. In another event, Palestine activists disrupted a Holocaust remembrance ceremony at Auschwitz-Birkenau. Such protests have sparked debates and drawn attention to the ongoing conflict between Israel and Palestine.
