Rick Scott accuses Biden of aligning with ‘pro-Hamas’ faction within the Democratic Party

In a recent statement, Senator Rick Scott (R-FL) has criticized President Joe Biden for allegedly appeasing the “pro-Hamas” faction within the Democratic Party. Scott claims that Biden’s handling of the situation in Gaza reflects poorly on his leadership abilities.

Scott’s criticism of Biden stems from the President’s indication that the United States would withhold bombs and artillery shells from Israel if they were to launch an invasion of Rafah, Gaza. The senator argued that Israel must destroy Rafah in order to eliminate the Hamas terrorist group and bring peace to their country.

During an interview on Fox News Sunday, Scott expressed his belief that Biden is aligning with the pro-Hamas wing of his party in pursuit of winning re-election. He praised former President Trump for his strong support of Israel and expressed hope that Trump would return to office to continue this support.

Scott also cited Biden’s handling of the border situation and rising inflation as further reasons why he believes the President’s track record pales in comparison to Trump’s. With Trump as the likely Republican nominee for the upcoming election, a rematch between him and Biden seems probable.

Meanwhile, Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) has taken steps to impeach Biden over his decision to halt weapon deliveries to Israel. This move mirrors the impeachment proceedings against Trump during his presidency for withholding aid to Ukraine.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken has defended Biden’s decision by stating that the U.S. is engaged in discussions with Israel regarding the heavy weapons in question and the potential repercussions of their use in Gaza.
