At a Trump rally in Wildwood, New Jersey, NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Lawrence Taylor announced his support for former President Donald Trump. Taylor, who had always been a Democrat, said he had a change of heart after meeting Trump. He expressed that he and his family would no longer support the Democratic party.

Before retiring from the NFL, Taylor was named the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year three times and won two Super Bowls. He was also awarded the title of Most Valuable Player for the 1986 NFL season.

During the rally, Taylor was joined on stage by former NFL player Ottis Anderson, who also expressed his support for Trump. Anderson, who played for the St. Louis Cardinals and the New York Giants, praised Trump and the energy of the crowd at the rally.

A recent poll in New Jersey showed that 46 percent of voters supported President Joe Biden, while 39 percent supported Trump, with 15 percent undecided.
