House Republican Conference chair Elise Stefanik criticized President Joe Biden for endangering the national security of the United States and Israel by threatening to halt weapons to the Jewish state. She accused the president of pandering to the “pro-Hamas base of the Democrat party” to boost his falling poll numbers. Stefanik, a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee, slammed Biden for his policies that put both American and Israeli security at risk. She argued that Biden is undermining Israel by withholding munitions necessary to target Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran, allowing for an escalation of attacks. Stefanik claimed that Biden is prioritizing appeasing the pro-Hamas base of the Democrat party over supporting American and Israeli hostages and Israel’s right to exist. Republican officials have criticized Biden for withholding crucial ammunition from Israel in its fight against Hamas, accusing him of serving his own political interests at the expense of national security. Former President Donald Trump also condemned Biden for siding with terrorists. Critics have argued that Biden’s actions violate the Impoundment Control Act of 1974. Despite the lack of international support, Israeli leaders remain determined to defeat Hamas and protect their country. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has emphasized the necessity of dismantling Hamas’s military capabilities, even if it means standing alone against global opposition. Israel is currently engaged in warfare against Hamas in the aftermath of a brutal attack against Jewish civilians, leading to widespread condemnation.
