Massachusetts Rodeo Turns Chaotic as Eight Bulls Escape and Roam Free

0:00

A rodeo event in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, took an unexpected turn on Sunday when eight bulls broke free from their enclosure in the parking lot of the Emerald Square Mall. The animals, which were participating in the Festival Rodeo, suddenly escaped and charged through the crowded parking lot, causing a commotion among onlookers.

Video footage captured the moment the bulls made their escape, showing them knocking down fencing and bumping against a tent as they made their way towards busy U.S. Highway 1. The animals eventually made a beeline for a nearby wooded area, where they enjoyed a brief taste of freedom.

Fortunately, no one was injured during the incident, but the North Attleboro Fire Department issued a warning to the public to exercise extreme caution and not approach the loose bulls. By late Sunday afternoon, seven of the eight bulls had been rounded up, but one remained at large.

The Festival Rodeo was shut down following the incident, and an investigation is underway to determine how the bulls managed to escape in the first place. The North Attleboro Fire Department is urging community members to remain vigilant and report any sightings of the remaining loose bull.
