Illegal Alien Accused of Sexually Abusing Child Released from Jail in Sanctuary State Rhode Island

The state of Rhode Island, a sanctuary state, recently released an illegal alien who was charged with sexually abusing a child in Providence.

The 37-year-old illegal alien from the Dominican Republic entered the United States at an unknown time and date, joining the ranks of many who successfully crossed the nation’s borders illegally.

In November 2023, the illegal alien was arrested and charged with multiple counts of child molestation and sexual assault in Providence.

Despite this, he was able to post bail within two weeks and was released into the community by the Rhode Island Department of Corrections.

The state’s sanctuary policy, enacted in 2014, prohibits law enforcement from cooperating with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

In April, ICE agents arrested the illegal alien in Providence, where he remains in custody pending deportation from the United States.
