Hunter Biden’s Appeal Against Gun Charge Rejected

0:00

Hunter Biden’s appeal of his gun charges was denied by the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. His trial is scheduled for June 3 in Delaware, with a pretrial conference set for May 24. The court dismissed Hunter’s appeal, stating that the orders were not appealable before final judgment. Despite being disappointed by the ruling, Hunter’s lawyer expressed the importance of further review. Hunter had previously entered into a diversion agreement with the Department of Justice, allowing him to plead guilty to tax charges and receive probation instead of jail time. The agreement also included immunity from future charges, including a felony gun violation. Hunter refused a plea deal offered by prosecutors after negotiations broke down. He faces charges including false statement in the purchase of a firearm and possession of a firearm by an unlawful user or addict. The case is titled United States v. Hunter Biden in the Third Court.
