Many suspected her estranged husband, who claimed he was in Serbia at the time but was traced to the same street as her apartment on the night she disappeared. Evidence from court documents also pointed to his involvement, with surveillance footage showing a man resembling him buying spray paint and covering security cameras.
As Knezevich’s family prepares for the court hearing, their lawyer stated that he is a flight risk and should not be given bond. The FBI and other agencies are continuing their investigation, but authorities have informed the family that it is unlikely Knezevich Henao is still alive.
