David Knezevich, the estranged husband of Ana Maria Knezevich Henao, who went missing in Spain in February, will appear in court for a bond hearing on Friday. He was arrested on a kidnapping charge at Miami International Airport, with Spanish police linking him to his wife’s disappearance. Knezevich Henao, who had been living in Spain after her marriage ended, disappeared on February 5, sparking concerns when she failed to meet a friend in Madrid.

The investigation into her disappearance revealed suspicious activities, including someone vandalizing security cameras in her apartment building on the same night she went missing. Many suspected her estranged husband, who claimed he was in Serbia at the time but was traced to the same street as her apartment on the night she disappeared. Evidence from court documents also pointed to his involvement, with surveillance footage showing a man resembling him buying spray paint and covering security cameras.

As Knezevich’s family prepares for the court hearing, their lawyer stated that he is a flight risk and should not be given bond. The FBI and other agencies are continuing their investigation, but authorities have informed the family that it is unlikely Knezevich Henao is still alive. The search for answers continues as the case unfolds.
