Miss Israel, Noa Cochva, faced verbal abuse and threats in New York City after revealing she was a soldier in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).

Walking in Washington Square Park, she was called names like “war criminal” and “Zionist,” and even had a knife pulled on her by an aggressive onlooker.

Cochva, who was promoting pro-Israel advocacy with the group “Facts for Peace,” encountered mostly negative reactions from people she tried to engage in conversation.

Despite facing hostility, she defended her military service and expressed her dedication to saving lives.

Only a few individuals showed support and appreciation for her service.

Cochva’s experience highlighted the challenge of engaging in dialogue with those who hold strong anti-Israel views.
