Apple Event 2024: What to Expect from the Latest iPhone and Apple Watch Launch

Apple enthusiasts, hold off on that iPhone upgrade – the tech giant’s highly anticipated event is just around the corner. The company’s annual product showcase is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 9, at 1PM EST (10AM PST) at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. Fans can catch the live stream of the event, dubbed “It’s Glowtime,” on Apple’s website, YouTube, or below.

As is customary for Apple’s September events, this year’s lineup is expected to feature a slew of new products, including the latest iPhone 16 series and new Apple Watch models – possibly the Series 10 or Series “X,” as well as an Ultra 3. Additionally, rumors suggest that Apple may unveil new AirPods in both standard and Pro versions.

The iPhone 16 models, which are expected to be unveiled in four variants – the iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max – are rumored to feature a slightly larger size and a new camera button on the Pro models, compared to their 2023 counterparts. While the upgrades may not be drastic, they’re still expected to generate significant buzz among Apple fans.

Even if you’re not planning to upgrade to a new device this year, you’ll still be able to access the latest iOS 18 update, which is likely to roll out later this month. The update promises to bring several exciting features, including Apple Intelligence and more customization options for your home screen.
