Former President Donald Trump criticized independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., calling him a Democrat “plant” in a post on Truth Social. According to Trump, Kennedy Jr. is a Radical Left Liberal working to help President Joe Biden get re-elected. Trump urged Republicans not to vote for Kennedy Jr., citing his anti-gun, extreme environmentalist, tax-raising, open border, and anti-military/veteran positions. These comments follow the launch of a website by the pro-Trump MAGA Inc. super PAC, labeling Kennedy Jr. as “Radical F***ing Kennedy.”
Kennedy Jr. countered Biden’s presidency, stating that Biden poses a greater threat to democracy due to his use of federal agencies to censor political speech. A recent survey by the Economist/YouGov showed that Trump supporters are more enthusiastic about voting in the 2024 election than Biden supporters. Republicans showed higher enthusiasm for voting compared to Democrats.
