Apple has revealed its latest iPad, featuring the new M4 chip for enhanced performance. The iPad Pro will tap into the field of artificial intelligence, thanks to the M4 chip. It will be available in two sizes: 11 inches and 13 inches, both measuring only 5.1 millimeters thick. Apple’s senior vice president of hardware engineering, John Ternus, praised the device for its Ultra Retina XDR display, M4 performance, AI capabilities, and compatibility with the Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard. The new Magic Keyboard will magnetically connect to the iPad models. The 11-inch model will start at $999, while the larger model will start at $1,299.
In other news, Apple recently abandoned its plans to enter the electric vehicle market, resulting in the dismissal of 614 California employees who had been part of Project Titan since 2014. They received notice of their termination on March 28 and will be let go on May 27.
