As JJ Watt turns 35, he announced that this will be the final year he offers to make a comeback with the Texans under coach DeMeco Ryans. Ryans expressed openness to the possibility, stating he has Watt’s number ready just in case. Watt made this revelation during a charity event in Texas, saying he would return if absolutely needed, as reported by Fox News.

Despite signing a deal with CBS to be an NFL studio analyst last year, Watt remains open to returning to the Texans if necessary. The Texans drafted Watt in 2011, and he played 12 seasons in the NFL, with injuries impacting his later career performance. Watt is known for his impressive sack numbers and finished with 114.5 sacks, ranking 24th all-time, according to CBS Sports.
