Jake Paul is preparing to face Mike Tyson in the ring on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Texas, and he has made his intentions clear. Despite his respect for Tyson, Paul is determined to come out on top in this fight.

“I love Mike. I’m super respectful of him. It’s an honor to be in the ring with him. But I have to end him,” Paul told USA Today. He emphasized that once the fight turns into a professional bout, it’s all out war, and one of them has to come out victorious.

While some speculated that the match would be a staged exhibition, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation confirmed that it will be a professional boxing match with referees and judges, and the results will count towards the fighters’ professional records. The gloves will be bigger, and the rounds will be shorter in this competitive fight.

Paul, with a record of 9-1, has only faced one professionally trained boxer, Tommy Fury, whom he lost to via split decision. Tyson, on the other hand, boasts an impressive record with 50 wins and only six losses. He also secured a victory against Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition match in 2020.

As the fight date approaches, tensions are rising between Paul and Tyson, with both fighters determined to come out on top in this high-stakes showdown.
