Elon Musk Addresses Reports of Funding Trump’s Campaign

Elon Musk has denied reports that he is providing millions of dollars a month to Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. In an interview with psychologist and lifestyle author Jordan Peterson on Tuesday, Musk categorically denied the Wall Street Journal‘s report that he is committing $45 million a month to the former president.

“I am not donating $45 million dollars a month to Trump,” Musk emphasized, calling the report “simply not true.” He did acknowledge creating the America PAC in July, but clarified that it is not intended to be a “hyperpartisan PAC” that donates large sums to conservative causes.

Instead, Musk said the PAC’s goal is to promote the principles that made America great in the first place. He pushed back against claims that he is funneling funds to Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign, stating that he is not actively supporting the former president’s bid.

Historically, Musk has been a supporter of the Democratic Party, backing Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden in the past. However, he has shifted to the right in recent years, criticizing progressive initiatives and endorsing Trump in July.

During the interview, Musk continued to express skepticism about “woke” culture, which he believes has “essentially tricked” him into gender-transitioning his son.

Despite his criticism of Trump’s MAGA mantra, Musk expressed his own vision for America’s future. “I wouldn’t say that I’m, for example, MAGA,” he said. “I think America is great. I’m more MAG — Make America Greater.”
