Trump Jr. Takes Down MSNBC’s Soboroff in Masterclass Exchange

At the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Donald Trump Jr. engaged in a telling exchange with MSNBC’s Jacob Soboroff that serves as a masterclass in dealing with the corrupt corporate media. Soboroff approached Trump Jr. and his brother Eric Trump, seeking insight into their father’s potential presidency in a second term. Trump Jr. was quick to deflect, arguing that the media created divisiveness around their father.

Trump Jr.’s assertion is spot on. The propaganda press has been relentless in its pursuit of lying, hoaxing, and smearing the Republican’s name and political career to advance Democrats’ “get Trump” agenda. Despite a significant number of Americans supporting Trump in 2016 and continuing to do so today, the media has refused to acknowledge this reality.

Trump Jr. offered a scathing critique of the media’s role in creating a false narrative around their father’s presidency. He suggested that if the media focused on the prosperity and peace deals achieved during his tenure, rather than perpetuating negative propaganda, it would benefit the entire country.

Soboroff, however, refused to engage in a meaningful conversation, instead pivoting to a years-old lie about Trump’s border response. Trump Jr. effectively called out Soboroff’s narrative, pointing out that the Obama administration was responsible for the “kids in cages” controversy, which was later mimicked by the Biden administration.

Soboroff’s response was characteristic of the corporate media’s refusal to acknowledge the ongoing border crisis and its impact on American communities. Instead, he chose to perpetuate a false narrative, further solidifying the public’s distrust of the media. Trump Jr. ultimately ended the interview, giving Soboroff a piece of his mind and dismissing him as a representative of the corrupt corporate press.
