Assistance for Law Enforcement Families Affected by Shootings

0:00

After the tragic death of four law enforcement officers in Charlotte, North Carolina, questions arise about how their families will be taken care of. Thanks to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the families of these fallen officers will receive mortgage-free homes to ease their financial burden during this difficult time.

The foundation pays off mortgages or provides homes to families of first responders with young children who are killed in the line of duty or due to 9/11-related illnesses. This support helps ensure that the families can remain in their homes and communities without added financial stress.

All four of the officers who were killed had children, leaving eight kids without their fathers. The community is coming together to support these families during this challenging time.

Tunnel to Towers has a long history of helping families of fallen first responders, with members paying a monthly fee to support these efforts. The foundation also provides assistance to first responders who are severely injured on the job, including those injured in the Charlotte shooting.

Overall, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation is dedicated to providing support to the families of fallen and injured first responders, ensuring they have a stable and secure future.
