Bloody spear discovered at gruesome double murder in Southern California

Two people were found dead in a storage facility in Santa Ana, California, with a third person hospitalized and a medieval-style spear discovered at the scene. The Santa Ana Police Department responded to a disturbance call at the storage facility, typically used for personal and business storage. Witnesses reported seeing police arrive, followed by a woman who heard gunshots, and an officer throwing a spear out of the unit. An older man and a younger woman were found dead inside the facility, with the young woman later confirmed to be deceased. The older male victim, described as a nice individual with a passion for medieval swords, had a niece present at the scene as well. Another individual was taken to the hospital in critical condition, and it is unclear if they are a suspect or another victim.
