Scaramucci Criticizes CEOs Backing Trump’s 2024 Bid

0:00

Former Trump White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci spoke out against CEOs who supported former President Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, citing his unpredictability and what he called “chaos” during his presidency. Scaramucci made the comments during an interview with MSNBC on Saturday, in which he accused CEOs of being swayed by “little policy promises” Trump offers, rather than considering the implications of supporting him.

Scaramucci pointed to Trump’s comments during the Unite The Right rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, and other occasions where CEOs “all pulled their support.” He specifically mentioned Stephen Schwarzman, who had described the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack as an insurrection, but noted that Schwarzman is now supporting Trump’s campaign.

“It’s a little bit of Trump-nesia, if you will,” Scaramucci said.
