According to the latest polling from Rasmussen Reports, Joe Biden’s legal attack on former President Trump is backfiring. When asked about the ongoing trial in New York City, only 26 percent of respondents said they were less likely to vote for Trump, while 32 percent said they were more likely to vote for him.

Among black voters, 27 percent said the charges make it more likely they will vote for Trump, and only 31 percent said less likely. Hispanics had a similar divide, with 33 percent more likely and 35 percent less likely to vote for Trump.

Overall, 40 percent said the New York trial will make no difference in their vote, showing a significant backfire for Biden’s efforts to keep Trump out of the White House.

Despite attempts to destroy Trump’s image through trials, a large percentage of voters still view him favorably. Trump’s favorability rating is at 50 percent, with a majority of Hispanics and even a significant portion of black voters viewing him favorably.

Even with ongoing attacks from the media, Trump’s polling numbers remain strong, showing that the efforts to discredit him have been unsuccessful.
