Actor Jonathan Tucker, known for his work in “Kingdom” and films such as “The Ruins” and “Hostage,” took swift action in a real-life incident in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
After witnessing a suspicious individual entering a nearby residence, Tucker immediately contacted the Los Angeles Police Department around 6:30 p.m., as reported by Los Angeles Magazine.
Upon discovering that the intruder had left the door open, Tucker entered the house, found a frightened young girl, and brought her to safety before returning inside. He then rescued the girl’s mother and an infant, who were both distressed by the situation.
Following Tucker’s actions, the LAPD responded promptly, with a helicopter deployed after a 911 call to assist in securing the area and apprehending the suspect, as detailed by TMZ.
After his arrest, the suspect was placed on a mental health hold.
In a statement to Los Angeles Magazine, Tucker humbly redirected praise to the LAPD, acknowledging their bravery and commitment to serving the community on a daily basis.
