A group of anti-Israel demonstrators disrupted an LGBTQ pride parade in Philadelphia on Sunday, bringing the procession to a standstill.
The protesters were vocal with anti-Israel slogans commonly heard at demonstrations nationwide. Chants included, “Palestine will live forever! From the sea to the river!” and “No pride in genocide.” Video captured the scene:

According to the New York Post, the disruption occurred “at the intersection of 11th Street and Locust Street after the Philly Pride March and Festival commenced around 10:30 a.m. at Washington Square and proceeded to the city’s Gayborhood area.”
The protest underscores a growing tension within the Democratic Party’s constituency, with some believing that anti-Israel demonstrations should take precedence over other issues like LGBTQ advocacy.
