Public Opinion on Trump Unchanged During New York Trial: People ‘Don’t Really Care’

0:00

CNN poll analyst Harry Enten mentioned on Wednesday’s “News Central” that recent polls indicate most voters are indifferent to the New York business records case involving former President Donald Trump.

Enten remarked, “It feels like only yesterday to me, John, that it began, but apparently, it has been 44 days. You crack the numbers, you’ve run the numbers. All right, let’s take a look here. Think Trump did something illegal in the New York hush money case. I’m curious whether these numbers will change at all during the course of this trial?”

Host John Berman inquired, “Any possible reasons why?”

Enten responded, “The fact that most Americans don’t really care that much, so closely following news about economy inflation, that’s number one.”
