Trump Should Quickly Appeal Any Conviction to the Supreme Court

Conservative radio host and litigator Mark Levin urged on Wednesday that former President Donald Trump should promptly appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court if convicted by a Manhattan jury, citing significant constitutional concerns.

The judge also baffled observers — even those from the center-left — by denying jurors a printed copy of the jury instructions, which exceeded 50 pages, for their deliberations.

Earlier, Levin had accused the judge of letting political motives influence his decisions:

Trump faces 34 counts and potentially over 100 years in prison sentences.

Typically, a defendant would appeal through state appellate courts, but Levin contended that the constitutional issues with the trial are so severe and the ramifications for the 2024 elections so significant that the nation’s highest court must hear any appeal immediately.
