MASON COUNTY, W.Va. — A school bus driver in West Virginia is facing felony charges following several reports of a potentially intoxicated driver, which led to a traffic stop on April 9.

Senior Trooper J. L. Cavender and Corporal A. B. Ward responded to the Camp Conley area on April 9, where they encountered Leslie Watterson, 53, from Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

Officials report that evidence collected and tested at the West Virginia State Police Forensic Lab confirmed that Watterson was impaired at the time of the initial stop.
