I have a specific preference when it comes to my workstation setup. I enjoy working from home using my laptop stand, monitor, mechanical keyboard, and mouse, and I am not a fan of just using a laptop most of the time. However, there are occasions when I need to work from different locations, like the library or my sister’s kitchen counter, without compromising the convenience of my peripherals. This is where Logitech’s Casa Pop-Up Desk comes in.

The Pop-Up Desk is lightweight, weighing about 2.7 pounds, and when closed, it resembles a small textbook, making it easy to fit into most backpacks and tote bags for portability. Upon opening it, you will find a wireless keyboard and trackpad in their designated spots. You can simply pop them out and configure the case into a stand to keep your laptop at eye level, using magnets to connect the platform to the edge of the case.

Additionally, there is a compartment to store the USB-C charging cord (note: it does not come with a power block) that charges both accessories. While the compartment may not be large enough for much else, it can also hold your phone charger, a pen, and perhaps a thin stack of Post-it Notes.

The Casa Pop-Up Desk, overall, is a convenient and practical solution for working on the go. Although I wish it included a mechanical keyboard like Logitech’s Pop Keyboard instead of a membrane keyboard, the included keyboard still works well, with a slight incline for comfortable typing. It is a compact keyboard, lacking the numpad and function row, which may not be ideal for everyone. However, for use outside of my usual desk setup, it serves its purpose effectively. If you are used to using your laptop keyboard anyway, you will find the Casa Keys keyboard satisfactory.

In conclusion, Logitech’s Casa Pop-Up Desk is a reliable and versatile tool for those who need to work in various locations while still maintaining the comfort and convenience of their peripherals.
