Democrats Quietly Accepting Possibility of Trump 2024 Win

0:00

Many Democrats are quietly acknowledging the strong possibility that former President Donald Trump may win the 2024 presidential election. Polls consistently show Trump leading in key battleground states. The ongoing criminal trial in Manhattan is failing to sway public opinion or anti-Trump pundits. The recent antisemitic riots on college campuses have been detrimental to the Democratic Party.

President Biden, who cited the neo-Nazi riot in Charlottesville as a motivation for running for office, has not effectively addressed the escalating violence on campuses. Pro-Hamas activists have been allowed to patrol campuses, excluding Jewish individuals and advocating for anti-Israel sentiments. Biden’s lack of action has emboldened the protesters and failed to maintain law and order.

The protests against Biden, dubbed as “Genocide Joe,” indicate a loss of support from young voters and progressives while alienating suburban voters seeking stability. Biden’s administration is struggling to control various issues, from the border crisis to inflation and national debt.

Democrats are banking on Trump’s legal troubles to hinder his chances of winning, but the cases in New York, Georgia, Florida, and D.C. are facing obstacles. Rather than panicking, Democrats are preparing for a battle against Trump’s potential comeback. Lawsuits and regulations are being planned to counter Trump’s policies in anticipation of the upcoming campaign.

As the election season kicks off, Democrats are realizing the challenges ahead and are gearing up for a tough fight against Trump.
