Biden Rejects More Debates with Trump, Says “No More Games”

President Joe Biden has declined to participate in additional debates, despite former President Donald Trump’s claim that Biden had agreed to attend.

NBC News and Telemundo were set to host the first presidential event, while Fox News was scheduled to host a vice presidential debate at a historically black college.

Trump announced the now-defunct agreement, stating his desire to engage with the Hispanic community and criticize Biden’s performance.

However, Biden’s campaign swiftly rejected the idea of more debates, stating that “the debate about debates is over.”

Biden had indicated a preference for CNN to host at least one debate, with plans for events in June and September without live audiences.

Trump accepted Biden’s invitation but urged for more frequent debates, expressing willingness to participate.

Despite this, Biden’s team stood firm in their decision not to engage in further debates, signaling an end to the discussion.
