A Second Term for Biden Would Benefit China

The Biden administration, after securing more U.S. taxpayer funds for Ukraine, is now focusing on the Indo-Pacific region. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is currently in China meeting with high-ranking officials to discuss various issues, including Chinese military aggression in the Taiwan Strait and South China Sea. However, President Biden’s leadership has been criticized for failing to effectively address these challenges.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has taken advantage of Biden’s presidency to advance Beijing’s territorial claims in the Indo-Pacific and challenge the U.S.-led world order. Incidents such as Chinese vessels harassing the Philippines in the South China Sea and increasing aggression towards Taiwan have raised concerns about China’s growing influence in the region.

Furthermore, China’s aggressive actions can be attributed to Biden’s domestic policies that have weakened the U.S. economy and national security. The administration’s failure to counter Chinese interference in domestic affairs and lax enforcement policies have allowed Chinese nationals to pose security risks at the U.S.-Mexico border and military bases.

Overall, Biden’s policies have destabilized global security and emboldened adversaries like China to assert their dominance. Without strong American leadership, China’s goal of becoming the world’s leading superpower by 2049 could become a reality sooner than expected.
