A major narcotics bust unfolded at the Greyhound bus station in downtown Nashville on Wednesday, resulting in the arrest of an 18-year-old man. Ivan Corrales, who had just arrived on a bus from Texas, was taken into custody by Metro police detectives at approximately 5:30 p.m.

Initially, Corrales denied any involvement with illicit substances, but he eventually consented to a search of his person and luggage. The search yielded a substantial bundle of 10,000 pills, wrapped in duct tape, which were later confirmed to contain the potent opioid fentanyl.

According to authorities, Corrales claimed to have received the pills in El Paso, Texas. He was subsequently booked into the Metro jail on felony drug possession charges, with a bond set at $75,000.
